Events

There are many events related to Slavic, East European and Eurasian (SEEE) studies conducted at or around the University of Illinois. The Slavic Reference Service hosts a variety of events throughout the semester, with past events including guest lectures by students and scholars in SEEE studies. Both the Department of Slavic Languages and Literatures and the Russian, East European, and Eurasian Center (REEEC) hosts a variety of SEEE-related events, speakers, and lectures throughout the academic year. Additionally, the Department of History hosts or co-sponsors many events, some of which are related to SEEE fields of study. Finally, the SRS occasionally develops displays and exhibits for the Main Library, with recent exhibits focusing on topics such as the ‘100th Anniversary of the Russian Revolution’ and ‘Jewish Studies Symposium at the University of Illinois.’
