Computers and Printing
Computer Resources in the Undergrad
- Computers are located in both the regular library area, as well as in a CITES Computing Lab.
- Undergraduate Library computers have internet browsers and Microsoft Office software available. Additionally, we have several IMacs with all fo this plus the iLife software and Adobe CS2 throughout the building.
- The CITES Lab has this type of computer. The CITES website has more information on Hours and Locations for all campus computer labs.
Library Printing
- All Undergraduate Library computers print to the same printers, located in front of the circulation and reference desks on the upper level.
- Students can print from their own laptops to library printers using library software downloaded from https://www-s2.library.uiuc.edu/lp/docs/software.pl
- Black and White Printing is $0.10 a page, color printing costs vary based on how much color is in the document being printed. There is also a Library Printing FAQ available for questions/problems with printing.
- The CITES lab uses their own printers, and color printing is not currently available there.
