Loanable Hard Drives

The Undergraduate Library now has portable hard drives available for UIUC students, faculty, and staff. The 160 GB units have a number of uses, including transfering larger files, such as digital audio and video, between home and class.

How to get one

  • Hard Drives are available at the Undergrad Library Information Services Desk
  • Library Hard Drives use USB 2.0 connections.
  • They can be checked out for up to 1 week. There are no renewals.
  • Hard Drives are available on a first come, first served basis. They cannot be reserved.
