Photoshop Resources

Adobe Creative Suite 2 software (which includes Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Go Live, Image Ready and Bridge) is available on all the iMacs in the Undergraduate Library. This software is used for all kinds of high end purposes - from image manipulation to graphic design, website layout, and more.

Resources for all CS2 Software

1. Adobe.com tutorials - Tutorials from Adobe. Searchable by topic - so good for finding out how to do specific tasks in each product.
2. CITES Student Technology Training Courses - A series of $10 tech training courses offered to UIUC students on a variety of useful software.
3. FAST 3 Workshops - for UIUC students, faculty and staff, approx $100 per course. More in depth courses than the student technology courses, covering more advanced techniques for CS2 and other software.

Web-Based Tutorials on Using Photoshop

• University of Wisconsin at Eau Claire - the UWEC tech support team has put together a great set of tutorials on using basic software applications, including Photoshop CS2.
• Photoshoptutorials.com - Includes links to several different tutorials, a blog of tips and tricks, and more.
• Safari Books Online - site of electronic books you can read from anywhere. There are a couple good Photoshop CS2 books available.
