UIUC Library Staff Development and Training Survey

The purpose of this survey is to determine areas of training need in what staff need to do their current jobs. All staff are asked to complete this surey so that a complete picture of staff needs can be developed and used to design an appropriate Library training program. The information you provide will be used by the Staff Development and Training Advisory Committee and the Coordinator for the purpose of meeting your identified training needs. You may be contacted for the purposes of clarifying informaiton you provide. A report on the combined training needs of the Library will be made available for all staff for comment.

How to complete this survey:

In this survey you will be asked to indicate whether you need training in a particular area and the type of training that you need. To help you to identify your training needs you may wish to review your job description.

While we realize that most people would prefer receiving training through either one-on-one instruction or via workshops, because of budget constraints, we will not be able to provide training in all preferred modes and methods.
