URL: http://feefhs.org/maps/indexmap.html Historical Maps collected by the Federation of East European Family History Societies. MediaIt is perhaps in this category more than any other that it is helpful to use some of the general search engines/portals for locating large lists of titles. One that has proven particularly useful is Sozvezdie Internet (http://www.stars.ru). The site is really a portal. In the category "Sredstva massovoi informatsii" there is a subheading "Gazety i zhurnaly". Clicking on this entry will produce a list organized into the following categories: World Press, the press of the countries of the former Soviet Union, the Russian press, sports, and electronic publications. There is also a search engine allowing you to search for individual titles. This is just one example of how the search engines are, in some cases, as effective as devised lists. the general sites.
