The CHEM ABSTRACTS on CD-ROM database may be accessed from any public-access "Library Gateway" PC. Library Gateway PCs are available at most UIUC Library public service points, including all departmental libraries. From the desktop, select the Start Menu. Then select All programs. CA on CD will in the middle of the list.
About Chem Abstracts
CHEM ABSTRACTS covers a broad spectrum of resources in the areas of technology and
science. Subject areas covered include: biochemistry, physical chemistry, inorganic
chemistry, applied chemistry, chemical engineering, macromolecular chemistry, and organic
chemistry. Types of materials that are indexed included journal articles, patents,
technical reports, dissertations, conference proceedings, and books. CHEM ABSTRACTS on CD-ROM
is available for the period 1987 - present.
