Welcome to the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign Library's "Buy a Book" Service (BABS)

This site provides access to book sellers to help Library users easily and quickly “Buy a Book.”

The University Library houses over 10 million volumes, a vast array of resources for the community to use. When a title is unavailable or a book purchase is what is needed rather than borrowing a title, this Website will help to direct library users to a bookseller. Information about local and online booksellers is provided below: when possible, access is provided to the seller’s online site through a web link.  These booksellers are organized by broad categories. Note that the Exit Illinois link is there to alert the user that they will be leaving the University of Illinois Website when one of these vendors is chosen.

Also please note that vendors marked with the ♥ provide a small portion of each BABS sale to the University. The University will use funds raised by book purchases to support the Library collections.
