The online version of the American Library Association's book review magazine, Booklist features both books and electronic media from October 1993 to the present.

Books in Print UIUC access only--login required for off-campus use

Bowker's Books in Print includes approximately 600,000 full-text book reviews as a complement to its 5.6 million title records. In the list of search results, items with reviews are marked with a star. To limit a search to books with reviews, select either "any source" or a specific journal from the "reviewed in" menu on the right hand side of the "Advanced Search" page. In order to access reviews, click on the "title reviews" tab at the top of the full record for a particular book.

ChoiceReviews.online UIUC access only--login required for off-campus use

ChoiceReviews.online is the Internet version of the print magazine CHOICE: Current Reviews for Academic Libraries, a publication of the Association of College and Research Libraries. Begun in 1964, it reviews significant current books and electronic resources of interest to those in higher education. Each year CHOICE publishes more than 6,500 reviews by subject experts. ChoiceReviews.online provides Web access to the entire database of CHOICE reviews published since September 1988.

Times Literary Supplement Centenary Archive UIUC access only--login required for off-campus use

Contains essays on authors from all eras and genres. In addition to providing biographical and critical studies written by scholars and academics, DLB presents bibliographic information about each author's writings as well as sources for further reading.

New York Review of Books Free resource--no login required

Lengthy reviews from the well-respected print publication. The keyword-searchable archive covers 1983 to the present, but the full text of many articles is only accessible to subscribers.
