Interlibrary
Loan
General
Information
Interlibrary Loan services are free
of charge.
Article photocopies are usually received
within 7-10 days of request. If you need the item immediately, please contact
us directly at library@inhs.uiuc.edu or 333-6892. Most articles are delivered
electronically (when available). Articles not available for electronic delivery
are sent to your campus address.
Book loan requests take an average
of 2-3 weeks to fill. You must pick up items at the Main Library, and you will
need your I-Card.
Loan periods vary by lending institution, and may be as short as 2 weeks. In
general, renewals are not possible.
