LOG IN TO PLACE A REQUEST

General Information

Interlibrary Loan services are free of charge.

Article photocopies are usually received within 7-10 days of request. If you need the item immediately, please contact us directly at library@inhs.uiuc.edu or 333-6892.
Most articles are delivered electronically (when available).
Articles not available for electronic delivery are sent to your campus address.

Book loan requests take an average of 2-3 weeks to fill.
You must pick up items at the Main Library, and you will need your I-Card.
Loan periods vary by lending institution, and may be as short as 2 weeks.
In general, renewals are not possible.

More information is available from the Interlibrary Loan Office, see Interlibrary Loan FAQs or call their phone support at (217) 333-0832. Also, feel free to contact us with your questions (library@inhs.uiuc.edu, 333-6892).
