Introduction
The INHS
Library's collection is included in UIUC's University Library
online catalog. The catalog is accessible through the INHS
Library homepage as well as the UIUC
Library Gateway. Collections of materials in the catalog
include books, journals, magazines, newspapers, video recordings,
maps, government documents, CD's, and DVD's.

I-Share
Library Requesting
If an
item is not available at the UIUC Library, the item may be
requested through the ILLINET Online Library Catalog which
includes collection information from 65 academic and research
libraries in Illinois.

Requesting
from Other Libraries
If the
item you are requesting is not available through the UIUC
or ILCSO libraries online catalogs, Interlibrary
Loan can assist you in retrieving the item.
Requests
for research materials can be placed online through Interlibrary
Loan. Use this service to request books, dissertations/theses,
conference proceedings, articles, and other items that are
not available through the UIUC or I-Share libraries.

Item
Pick-up
For UIUC
and I-Share materials, faculty, staff, and graduate students
can either designate a library pick-up location or can request
delivery through campus mail to their campus address. Undergraduate
students must designate a library pick-up location.
You will
receive a notification via e-mail when the item is available
for pick-up. If you select UIUC Campus Mail delivery, you
will receive the item in your campus mailbox. If your request
cannot be filled, you will be notified via email.
For requests
placed through Interlibrary Loan, faculty, staff, and students will receive
an email notification to pick up the item or instructions
for electronic retrieval.
