About BiblioLine

Fish & Fisheries Worldwide

This exclusive collection of databases is indispensable for researchers of fish and fish culture. Distinguished files from around the world provide almost 400,000 citations and some abstracts on all aspects of ichthyology, fisheries, and related aspects of aquaculture. Major topics include culture and propagation, limnology and oceanography, genetics and behavior, natural history, parasites, diseases, habitat management, fish processing/marketing, general research, and fisheries management. More than 13,500 records are added per year.

Dates of Coverage: 1971 & earlier to present

Helpful Feature: Switch to a higher search mode without losing your search strategy. Begin in the Quick mode and see how your search strategy is transformed into Boolean format when you switch to the Advanced mode. (NOTE: This feature does not work when switching to a lower search mode.)

Wildlife & Ecology Studies Worldwide

Wildlife & Ecology Studies Worldwide is the largest index to literature on wild mammals, birds, reptiles, and amphibians; it includes almost 600,000 bibliographic records and many abstracts. The databases in this exclusive collection offer a global perspective and together form the ultimate resource on wildlife information. NISC’s unique composite records feature ensures access to all the citations without duplication. All aspects of wildlife and wildlife management are covered in this comprehensive volume. Approximately 18,000 records are added per year.

Dates of Coverage: 1935 & earlier to present

Helpful Feature: You can export your search results using ProCite, Reference Manager, EndNote, or RefWorks. Use the Tutorial to find specific instructions about exporting.
