This menu enables efficient access to the wide range of information resources available from the UIUC Library.

• The Library Gateway logo at the top of the menu changes to context-sensitive help as the mouse pointer moves across menu choices.
• The round buttons in the left column of the menu show drop-down sub-menus of options when clicked.

Please note:

• Older versions of Netscape Navigator (prior to ver 4.06) may cause this Java applet to stop loading if PC display has been set for "True color" or "Millions of colors". You will need to reset the color palette in the Control Panel of the computer to 65536 colors.
• Mac users & users with older web browsers (prior to version 4 Netscape Navigator & version 4 Microsoft Internet Explorer) will not see the context help or drop-down sub-menus.
• When viewing our pages over slow network connections, you may wish to disable your browser's Java feature. This will eliminate context help & drop-down sub-menus, but will speed page loading times.
