Comment from an MLAer:
"I listed an out-of-print CD with amazon.com's finding service. Once you complete the form it is listed with a number of OP dealers who hunt for the title you requested. They allow the patron to place an end date on the search. My listing was approaching the its 3-month end date when the item was actually found. I paid $19.00 for the CD and was very happy with it's condition."
Info on imports:
Musica Bona (Czech music)
Comment from an MLAer:
"Also, I have occasionally found that searching in overseas branches of Amazon.com (such as Amazon.fr, Amazon.de, etc.) can be fruitful. Often a disc is discontinued as far as U.S. distribution is concerned but is not actually out of print worldwide."
