LOCATION: 219 Smith Music Hall, housed in a single archival box

 

PROVENANCE: Personal collection of Edna Phillips Rosenbaum (1908-2003), donated to the library by her daughter Joan Solaun, of Urbana.

 

WHEN ACQUIRED: January 2004

 

DESCRIPTION: Edna Phillips Rosenbaum was principal harpist of the Philadelphia Orchestra from 1930 to 1946. The collection consists primarily of scores (in manuscript or facsimile) of works for harp and orchestra commissioned by Ms. Rosenbaum.  Many of the scores include her markings.
