Library Instruction for Your Classes or Studio

Course-integrated instruction is designed to help students use the library and the Internet for course-related research or studio assignments. Working in collaboration with the instructor, the Music Library Information staff will tailor instruction to meet the needs of your class or studio. We can provide assistance in designing library assignments, orientation to specific resources, and customized Web pages listing the resources discussed. Contact Kirstin Dougan dougan@uiuc.edu or 244-4072 for scheduling and planning. Because course-integrated instruction is tailored to individual classes, a minimum of two weeks prior notice is required.

Research Assistance

The Music User Services Coordinator can provide individual consultation in formulating and pursuing library research strategies. Services include assistance with identifying, locating, and using appropriate print, digital, and other resources; and assistance with finding specific books, articles, music materials, and other items held by the UIUC libraries and at other institutions. Contact Kirstin Dougan dougan@uiuc.edu or 244-4072 to schedule an appointment.
