I found a citation for a paper in "Proc. A.M.S." That doesn't seem like the entire name; where can I find the full name of the journal?


When you have an abbreviation for a journal title and need to know the full title, you can usually find it in one of three places. If you are physically in the library, the easist place to look is the Mathematics Library Flip File; click here to find out what the Flip File is and how to use it. If you are at home, you can search the abbreviation in MathSciNet or the Mathematics Library database of Current Journals of Interest to Mathematicians.
