Life Sciences Division |
The Life Sciences Division (LSD) is one of the nine divisions of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign Library. The member libraries include the Isaac Funk Family Library for Agricultural, Consumer, and Environmental Sciences (ACES), Applied Health Sciences, Biology, and Veterinary Medicine libraries as well as two allied libraries, the the Natural History Survey Library and the University of Illinois at Chicago's Library of the Health Sciences. In addition, the Biotechnology Librarian, who oversees the Biotechnology Information Center, is a member of the Division. The division units serve the information needs of the College of ACES, the College of Applied Health Sciences, the Department of Dance, the School of Integrative Biology, the School of Molecular and Cellular Biology, the College of Veterinary Medicine, the College of Medicine, the Illinois Natural History Survey, and other colleges and departments involved in the life sciences across campus.
