I. Minutes of August 28 were revised and approved.
II. Reports
A. Admin. Council (Jane) -- No meeting.
B. Faculty Meeting (Renee & Ruby) -- Meeting cancelled.
C. Divisional Meetings Items -- No reports.
III. Updates/Discussions
A. Safety & Security Advisory Group -- Discussed responses from the Library administration and the unions.
B. Staff Lounge -- Awaiting more information.
C. Food and Drink Policy -- Some discussion about implementation and enforcement.
D. LSSC By-Laws -- An e-poll staff regarding term lengths and limits was composed and posted to Lib-Staff.
IV. Meeting with Bob Burger.
A. Upcoming guest attendee to LSSC
Bob arranged for Joni Elsenpeter -- Manager for Labor and Employee Relations to attend a future meeting to provide information and clarification regarding the role of collective bargaining in relation to LSSC's role as an advisory committee.
B. Other Matters.
The Food and drink policy will be discussed again soon in AC. Reviewed the Patron Conduct Policies on the web and some other security questions.
