| Dads Association Gift The Undergraduate Library recently received a gift of $1,125.00 from the Dads Association. The funds will be used to purchase books honoring sophomores who have acquired a 4.0 cumulative average. Many thanks to the Dads Association for its continuous support to the Undergraduate Library. (Joyce C. Wright) Know Your University Lecture Paula Kaufman is being featured as the speaker for the Know Your University lecture series at noon next Tuesday, September 25. She will be speaking about the future of the University Library and about plans to preserve the Library's collection for future generations and about ways the Library hopes to enhance the experience of undergraduates using the Library. |
The Know Your University series is held at the University YMCA at 1001 South Wright Street across from Lincoln Hall. All sessions are free and are open to the general public. Lunch is available for those who wish to purchase it from the Y Eatery Thai Restaurant. Audience members may also bring their own lunch. Beverages (tea and water) are available for all of those who attend. Lunch is served at 11:55; the lecture begins at 12:10; the program finishes at 12:55. We hope that all of you in the Library who wish to hear Paula's remarks will be able to attend the lecture. |
