The University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign recognizes a number of affiliated organizations, including those holding allied status. Staff members and others associated with these affiliates may receive access to Library resources and services based on this affiliate status.

Daytime parking on the University of Illinois campus can be difficult, and it may be more convenient to walk to some destinations. Check out our virtual maps for more details. Between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m., visitors may park in metered spaces along streets and in metered spaces in parking lots and facilities indicated in blue on the campus map. All other campus lots are reserved for permit holders only, and your car may be towed if you park in prohibited spaces. University lots are open to visitors after 6 p.m. and on weekends and holidays, subject to posted restrictions. In addition to campus facilities, a municipal lot is located on Green Street between Fifth and Sixth streets. Meters are 75 cents an hour in 20 minute increments.
Please note: Although not marked on the campus parking map, the parking lot to the west of the Main Library Building is a metered parking lot which does not require a parking permit. This parking lot also has five designated accessible parking spaces.
