Chicano
Database - This is the most comprehensive bibliographic resource for
information about Mexican-American topics and the only specialized database for
Chicano reference. It identifies, in one place, all types of material about
Chicanos and provides uniform subject access to this constantly growing body of
literature. Incorporates the Spanish Speaking Mental Health Database, a
comprehensive resource covering psychological, sociological, and educational

This organization is committed to the generation, transmission, and application
of knowledge to serve the needs of Latino communities in the Midwest.
The institute is a unit of the College of Social Science and affiliated
with the College of Agriculture and Natural Resources at Michigan State
University. This site contains many links to Hispanic organizations
in the Midwest and nationwide.

National Council of La Raza (NCLR).
This organization "is a private, nonprofit, nonpartisan, tax-exempt organization
established in 1968 to reduce poverty and discrimination, and improve life
opportunities, for Hispanic Americans". This site contains information
about NCLR's policies, programs and publications.

Tomás Rivera Policy Institute (TRPI).
This institute "conducts and disseminates objective, policy-relevant research
and its implications to decision makers on key issues affecting Latino
communities". This site contains information on the Institute's current
research projects and publications.

National Association for Ethnic
Studies, Inc., provides an interdisciplinary forum for scholars
and activists concerned with the national and international dimensions
of ethnicity. The Association welcomes scholars and teachers at all educational
levels, students, libraries, civic and governmental organizations, and
all persons interested in ethnicity, ethnic groups, intergroup relations,
and the cultural life of ethnic minorities. As a non-profit corporation,
NAES provides a vehicle for interested members and donors to promote responsible
scholarship and advocacy in the diverse fields of enquiry which constitute
ethnic studies.
