  • Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) - "The oldest and largest regional multilateral development institution," the IADB "is the principal source of multilateral financing for economic, social and institutional development projects in Latin America and the Caribbean." Their page includes:
    • Felipe Herrera Library - The library of the Inter-American Development Bank, with links and publications. Available in English and Spanish.
    • IDBAmerica - The magazine of the IDB. Available in English, Spanish, Portuguese, or French.
    • INTAL - The Departamento de Integración y Programas Regionales. In their publications section you'll find a number of documents available for download, including the regional reports. Available in English, Spanish, or Portuguese.
    • IDB Research Department - Reports and other publications (including the IPES series) online. English.
  • Inter-American Dialogue - "The premier U.S. center for policy analysis, communication, and exchange on Western Hemisphere affairs." Includes a number of free publications in Adobe PDF format. English.
  • BALAS - The Business Association of Latin American Studies is the first international organization to focus exclusively on economics in Latin America and the Caribbean. The home page provides membership information as well as news and resources.
  • AEI Latin American Outlook - An online publication on Latin American economic policy, each issue featuring a different topic. Written by Mark Falcoff and published by the American Enterprise Institute for Public Policy Research. English.
  • World Bank & IMF Libraries - The external website for World Bank and International Monetary Fund libraries.  Includes library catalogs and publications. English.
  • IDEAS (Internet Documents in Economics Access Service) - Extensive economics database of the RePEc (Research Papers in Economics) group, maintained by the Department of Economics at the University of Connecticut. English.
  • Information Services Latin America (ISLA) - News monitoring service that also focuses on "challenging U.S. foreign policy and supporting pro-democracy activists in Latin America." Includes special reports and useful links concerning Latin America. English.
  • Inforpress Centroamericana - "Analysis and information about the economic and political events of the region." Abstracts of current articles and special reports available free; in-depth reports, archives, and custom research services are for subscribers only. Available in Spanish and English.
     
  • Centro de Investigaciones Económicas y Políticas de Acción Comunitaria (CIEPAC) - Located in Chiapas, Mexico, this nonpartisan organization's work is the analysis, investigation, formation, empowerment, and participation in social processes.
  • Includes bulletins, documents, and maps. In Spanish.
    • Plan Puebla Panamá  - The controversial document can be viewed on this page by scrolling down to it. In Spanish.
  • Centro de Estudios Públicos - A center of ideas and information in areas of public interest. Includes their journal, Estudios Públicos. In Spanish.
