About CITES Express Email
- All UI Library faculty and staff have an email account provided by Campus Technologies and Educational Services (CITES). Your email address is in this format: yourNetID@uiuc.edu.
- Guide to CITES Express Email offers a complete set of documentation for accessing and using the CITES Express Email service.
- If you have any questions or problems with your email account, please call the CITES Help Desk at 244-7000.
Express Email Web Interface
- You can access your email account from anywhere via the CITES Express Email web interface.
- CITES provides online Web Interface Tutorials to help you with the basics of using the Express Email web interface. Here are a few quick guides:

Desktop email clients
- Library IT supports Mozilla Thunderbird as a desktop email client. Thunderbird is installed on all standard staff workstations.

- Warning from CITES:
- Accessing your CITES Express Email account through a desktop email client and the Express Email web interface at the same time can cause some of your messages to be deleted in rare cases.
