LABOURLINE is a database of European labour information resources
covering European, international, and comparative aspects of industrial
relations, employment, labour market policies, and social protection
developed by the libraries at the European Trade Union Institute and
the European Trade Union Technical Bureau for Health and Safety. The
consolidated bibliographic database contains more than 18,000 references
to documents focusing on industrial relations as well as more than
12,000 references to documents on health and safety issues.
- Workindex.com is a listing of over 3000 web sites in the fields of human resource management and labor management relations edited and researched by the Catherwood Library at Cornell University and produced by Human Resource Executive. It is arranged by topic, with brief descriptions of the content of each and a link to the site.
- Labordoc is a database produced by the International Labor Office in Geneva, Switzerland, which indexes and abstracts books, journals, and reports in the fields of industrial relations, economic and social development, management, education and training, project evaluation, rural development, law, social protection, and the implications of technological change published all over the world. The database was created in 1965, but it includes references from the ILO library's converted card catalog back to 1919. It is particularly rich in citations to material on the fields in which the International Labor Organization is involved and on employment and social law in foreign countries. Although the abstracts are all in English, the publications abstracted are in almost 60 different languages.
- WorksonWork is a database containing citations to materials related to the field of industrial relations, including books, journal articles, working papers, and proceedings. It is maintained by the Industrial Relations Center Reference Room at the University of Minnesota. WorksOnWork currently indexes approximately 70,000 items that have been added to the Industrial Relations Center Reference Room collection since 1985. The database can be searched by author, title, keyword, or by unique subject headings specially developed by the Reference Room staff.
