rich history of Jewish creative writers worldwide in the 20th century and

"Introductory Surveys" on various bodies of Jewish writing, for
instance, "American-Jewish Literature", "Hebrew Literature in
the 20th Century", and "Holocaust Writing". The bulk of the
volume are alphabetically-arranged entries of individual writers. Each entry
gives a brief biography, discusses important literary works and achieves,
and select bibliography.
