MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

As an Assistant Social Science Librarian, I am responsible for collection development and management of the main collections for the Departments of Psychology and the School of Social Work.  This includes providing reference assistance and bibliographic instruction to groups and individuals requesting more customized research consultations.   I am also the Electronic Resources Coordinator for the Education and Social Science Library.

RESEARCH INTERESTS:

I am exploring issues in the field of library education with particular interest in historical documentation of African American contributions and the evolving curriculum.  Additionally, I am involved in research concerning the information seeking behaviors of graduate students and faculty in the social sciences.
