S-Collection Periodicals Guide
The S-Collection periodicals are a collection composed of scholarly children's literature journals and entertaining children's magazines. Current issues of periodicals are located in room 106 of the Education and Social Science Library (in the S-Collection room). Older issues will be found in the storage facility and can be requested at the reference desk.
Web addresses have been provided as additional information; however, this does not mean that each journal with a web address will be full-text online.
Other journals that cover children's literature may be found in the Library and Information Science Library (306 Main Library). To locate additional magazines for children, check with Urbana Free Library and Champaign Public Library.
"Relevant Links" (links to full-text e-journals of children's literature) and "Other Links" (links that are not full-text) have been included as additional places to look regarding children's literature research.
