This third edition defines 250 new terms relating to contemporary and historic political thought. With 1790 total entries, the dictionary is an accessible reference on political ideologies, major thinkers, and political institutions. Some ephemeral terms in the second edition have been excluded from this publication, though others with less contemporary relevance have been retained because of the theory or theorist’s influence on political thought.
