Caltech-MIT Voting Technology Project

The Voting Technology Project was established in 2000 to prevent a reoccurrence to the problems that occurred during the 2000 Presidential election. The site contains information on voting machines, including maps of voting equipment used by counties and an assessment of the reliability of voting machines.

 

The Center for Responsive Politics

The Center for Responsive Politics is a non-partisan, non-profit that tracks money in politics and it effect on elections. The center maintains opensecrets.org, which allows users to find out who's giving money to politicians and political parties.

 

League of Women Voters

The LWV is a grassroots organization that provides a variety of tools that help citizens get involved with the democratic process.
