ABSEES Online
This is the Internet version of the American Bibliography of Slavic and East
European Studies. It contains citations to books, articles, Internet
resources, dissertations, and selected government publications, searchable by a
variety of fields.
AccessUN
Access UN provides access to current and retrospective United Nations documents and publications (back to 1966). Articles appearing in UN periodicals are individually indexed. Indexing of the bilateral and multilateral treaties in the UN Treaty Series is another unique feature of the Index. Documents from the six main bodies of the United Nations - General Assembly, Security Council, Economic and Social Council, Trusteeship Council, Secretariat and International Court of Justice - are indexed. The index will provide hypertext links to full-text documents if available on the web.

This is an index to a finite collection of United Nations Development Programme Project Reports
issued and held by UN headquarters between the years 1972-1998. The index provides access to
evaluative, technical and terminal reports (available in full-text on microfiche)

This database begins with the first Black newspaper in America and marches through the 19th century in chronological sequence.

Online Access (AGRICOLA)
The AGRICOLA (Agricultural Online Access) database contains bibliographic records of materials in the agricultural and
related sciences. Ninety percent of the records describe journal articles and book chapters, and the remaining ten percent
describe monographs, series, microforms, audiovisuals, maps, and other types of materials.

This is the Census Bureau's search page for Census data, including the 1990 and
2000 Censuses. It also includes data from the American Community Survey,

Health Line (National Journal) American Health Line is gives daily and
weekly news briefing on health care policy and politics. It scans hundreds of
newspapers, magazines, online sources, press releases, and radio and TV news
shows and gives a summary of each day's relevant health care news.
Archives USA
ArchivesUSA offers access to holdings and contact information
for more than 4,800 repositories. It indexes over 109,000
special collections and includes the Directory of Archives and
Manuscript Repositories in the United States (DAMRUS), the
National Union Catalogue of Manuscript (NUCMC), and
National Inventory of Documentary Sources in the United
States (NIDS).

Contains information for approximately 460,000 international and U.S. national, regional,

Latin American Studies
The Handbook is a bibliography on Latin America consisting of works selected and annotated by scholars. Edited by the
Hispanic Division of the Library of Congress, the multidisciplinary Handbook alternates annually between the

HAPI Online Hispanic American Periodicals Index. HAPI Online, the web version of the Hispanic American

MEDLINE is the National Library of Medicine (NLM)’s premier bibliographic database. It dates back to the mid-1960’s
and contains over 11 million references from 4,000 biomedical journals published in the U.S. and 70 other countries.
MedlinePlus
MEDLINEplus is particularly useful for people with little medical knowledge. MEDLINEplus brings
quality-filtered full text, current information about diseases, drugs, or any medical condition or procedures.
Online medical dictionaries offer further assistance to the viewer, and the directory of
physicians and health facilities provide local access to health care programs.
Monthly Bulletin of Statistics Online
This database maintains monthly economical statistics for over 200 countries. It
also details over 50 subject areas and provides a data dictionary to clarify
terms. To begin searching the database, click "Data Selection" on the left menu
bar.
National Journal
This nonpartisan weekly magazine focuses on U.S. politics, policy, and
government. From this page, also access several daily news sources: the Hotline,
a general political news source, CongressDaily,

Researchers can search through the complete digital edition of The Times (London), using keyword searching and hit-term highlighting
to retrieve full facsimile images of either a specific article or a complete
page. The entire newspaper is captured, with all articles, advertisements and
illustrations/photos divided into categories to facilitate searching.
Toxnet
This family of databases provides
bibliographic, factual, and structural information on toxic and otherwise dangerous chemicals and substances as well as
information on these substances’ interactions with living organisms and the environment. One of the databases, TOXLINE, offers index access to published research results in
books, journals, and technical reports, while others provide factual information about the compounds, procedures, and
outcomes in a concise outline format.
UN Commodity Trade Statistics Database (Comtrade)
Identifies the reported market share of 120 to 140 countries or
areas by commodity and trading partner. UN
Treaty Collection
This database includes the full text of over 40,000 treaties registered with
the Secretariat of the United Nations, as well as status information for over
5,000 significant multinational agreements.
U.S. Congressional Serial Set: Digital Edition
A searchable and browseable compilation of full-text Congressional documents from
1817 to 1831, with later years to be added. The Serial Set is an important source of primary documents on American
history and politics.
USPTO Web Patent Database Website provides access to bibliographic and full-text patent databases. These databases cover the period from 1 January 1976 to the most recent weekly issue date (usually each Tuesday).
