Faculty

Mary Mallory, Department Head
Mary has been with the department for 27 years, and her specialty is U.S. Documents.

Karen Hogenboom, Assistant Government Information Librarian
Karen has been with the department for 6 years, and her specialty is Illinois State Documents.

David Griffith, Assistant Government Information Librarian
David has been with the department for 15 years, and specialty is United Nations Documents.

Graduate Assistants

Graduate Assistants who worked on this Exhibit are Camilla Fulton, Library and Information Science Graduate, and Leo Dion and Katie Helsabeck, second year Library and Information Science graduate students here at the UIUC. Government Documents libraries serve the public with the information disseminated through the Government Printing Office.   All work on the web site contribute to the exhibits and work at the reference desk.

Camilla received her undergraduate degree from Washington University in St. Louis, MO in architecture. While attending school she worked at the Law School library, focusing on government documents. Camilla has worked extensively on the website as well as cataloging Illinois State and United State documents.

Leo received his undergraduate degree in Political Science. Before coming to UIUC Government Documents Library Leo was in the Peace Corps where he was stationed in Turkmenistan. Leo has worked with the Serials Set and coordinates educational programs of government documents resources. 

Katie received her undergraduate degree from Culver-Stockton College in History/Political Science. During her time there she interned at the Missouri State Legislature. Katie's projects here at the library include copy cataloging GPO depository materials as well as United Nations depositories. In addition to cataloging, she is working on the electronic version of the vertical file. 
 

Student Workers

UIUC Governmetn Documents Library Student Workers include: Precious McClendon, Caitlin Jonassen, Chinwe Ntamere, Colleen Marron-Beebe, William Rinehart, TaCarra Moore, and Jason Krone. Duties of the student workers consist of processing cataloged materials, processing new shipments, and shelving the Government Documents stacks and Government Documents Library areas.
