Guide
This is a guide to web resources on sources useful for studying about
recreation business. It includes links to governmental information on small
businesses, recreation and trade association organizations at the state,
national and international level and business web resources. The
electronic and print resources are either accessible via the Internet or
at the Government Documents Library, 200D Main Library;
reference desk phone number is 244-6445. Paper or CD-ROM format
titles appear in orange typeface. The
titles in blue are hypertext links to web publications and databases.
This list represents only a starting point and is not comprehensive.

- Small Business: Governmental Information
- United States Small Business
Administration (SBA) homepage
- Contains information on the starting, financing and expansion of
small businesses. Links are made to SBA resources, including their
offices and services and disaster assistance. They also highlight
regulatory and legislative issues that could impact small businesses.

Printing Office's Small Business bibliography
- This is a subject bibliography that includes all the government
publications about small business printed by the GPO. This is useful in
identifying governmental information on federal regulations, sources on
dealing with governmental agencies, suggestions for starting and running a small business, etc.
- Do a title search in the online catalog to see if the publication is available. If it is not available there, one can always look at the federal agency that produced it so see if it is available on their publications site. To find federal agencies use The Villanova Center for Information Law and Policy's Federal Web Locator.

- Annotated list of more than 1,000 links to web sites related to
international trade. This is produced by the Federation of International
Trade Associations

- Massive indexing webpage by the Center for International Business
Education and Research at Michigan State University. Contains links

information, statistical and governmental resources, company directories,
