About the SESE Virtual LibraryThe SESE Virtual Library is part of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign Library, currently the largest public university library in the United States. In addition to over 10 million physical volumes, the UIUC Library provides access to a vast number of electronic journals and indexes, making the SESE Virtual Library possible. In addition to electronic resources, many services are also available via e-mail and the internet. The SESE Virtual Library serves the faculty and students of the UIUC School of Earth, Society, and Environment which consists of three departments: Atmospheric Sciences, Geography, and Geology. Primary physical UIUC libraries serving these departments are: Grainger Engineering Library, the Geology Library, the Map and Geography Library, and also a collection in the Atmospheric Sciences annex. As the School evolves, the configuration of these three libraries will likely adapt. In addition, relevant print journals and books can be found in many of the other UIUC library units such as the Main Library, and the Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Social Sciences libraries. |
