Digital Object Management Task Force

Governance:

 

The Digital Object Management Task Force reports to CAPT and is chaired by the Head of CAM. The group will coordinate its activities with other working groups and library departments, as warranted. Any proposals that the group develops requiring the development of supporting policies must be approved by CAPT after due consideration by other appropriate library bodies. Any proposals generated by the group that require funding for implementation must be referred to either the IT Advisory Committee or Library's Budget Group for funding approval. The chair of the working group is expected to update CAPT on its activities on a regular basis.

 

Charge:

 

The charge of the Digital Object Task Force is to assist the Library in developing more trusted digital repositories (with OAIS concepts) and create a more comprehensive search and discovery environment for the Library's digital collections. This will be accomplished by:
