Electronic Frontier Foundation - The EFF site's mission is to "civilize the electronic frontier" by advocating free expression on thre Internet and organizing online free speech campaigns.

FACT: First Amendment Cyber-Tribune - FACT is intended to be a resource for anyone wanting to learn about the First Amendment and is an excellent gateway for anyone doing research on a variety of aspects of the First Amendment.

Kiss of the Panopticon - This website aims to provide "quick, user-friendly, one-stop shopping" to those interested in critical theory, cultural theory, and new media literacy.  The "Special Topics" section of this site also offers an excellent overview of various critical and cultural theories and serves to educate in diverse areas.

LANIC - This website provides hundreds of links to media and communication sites in Latin America.  It includes radio and TV programmers; major Latin American newspapers; journalism associations; awards and investigative tools; and communication resources.

Media and Communication Studies Site - This British-based gateway to Web resources is useful in the academic study of media and communication.  The site offers students and academics access to scholarly articles and links to relevant websites covering primarily cultural and qualitative issues in communications.

Media Awareness Network - This Canadian clearinghouse for media literacy resources is a bilingual website targeting people interested in media influences.
