The UIUC Library is home to several print advertising collections.  The Ad Council Archives, administered by the UIUC University Archives, contains promotional materials in magazines and newspapers as well as radio, television, billboard and posters.  The D'Arcy and Woodward advertising collections are administered by the Communications Library.  While the Woodward Advertising Collection is currently being indexed and inventoried, the D'Arcy Collection has its own online index and is also available on microfilm.  In 1998, the Communications Library highlighted over 400 advertisements from the Woodward and D'Arcy collections in an online exhibit.  For more information and access to the D'Arcy Collection, Ad Council Archives and the Advertising Exhibit, click the buttons to the left.
