One of the Library's highest priorities is providing proper environments for learning and
study. Most current facilities reflect the times and the print-based media for which they were
built. Significant investment is required to build new libraries and to renovate existing
facilities to better serve faculty and students whio increasingly utilize digital information
resources and a multidisciplinary approach to teaching and learning.
Contributions will support the construction of new libraries and the renovation of existing facilities into well-lit, ergonomically designed spaces that are conducive to individual and group study. Examples of facilities include the state-of-the-art Funk Family Agricultural, Consumer, and Environmental Sciences (ACES) Library and the Grainger Engineering Library Information Center (photo by Don Hamerman).
