Document Delivery
After locating records that look interesting to you, you may find that the articles to which they refer are not in any of the libraries on campus. In this case, CA on CD can provide document delivery services. To find out about document delivery options, bring up the record of choice. A button labled DDS will appear in the second row of buttons.

Clicking on this button will bring up a box that asks you whether or not you want to print out a document delivery form for the article you requested. This form will give a fax number to which the request can be sent and ask you questions about delivery, payment options, and the address to which the article should be sent. If you have a CAS DDS Customer Number, you can avoid answering most of the questions. The citation information from the article is printed at the top of the form, so you do not have to type it. Click on the thumbnail below to see an example of the document delivery form.
You can also print out document delivery forms for a list of marked references in one step. After marking a list of references, a button labled DDSMrk will appear in the second row of buttons. Clicking on this button brings up the same printer menu that the DDS icon in a record summoned. The system will then print a document delivery order form for each record that you have marked. Click on the above thumbnail to see an example form.
