About e-EROS: Encyclopedia of Reagents for Organic Synthesis


e-EROS is the electronic counterpart of the print version of the Encyclopeida. The database contains aroung 50,000 reactions and 3,800 of the most frequently consulted reagents.


To open e-EROS in the Chemistry Library:

Go to the Chemistry Library homepage (http://www.library.uiuc.edu/chx) and look for the e-EROS link in the "Databases" section.
