Publication Search
Basics
If you click on the button at the very top, this will take you to the Publication Search feature (Figure 15). This lets you browse for journals/publications in the selected database, especially if you do not know if the database contains the publication you are searching within.

Figure 15
- The very first screen that shows up allows you to enter
a letter or publication title. You can enter a term and hit
(Figure 15, 1a),
use the link "Show all publications" to browse for subjects alphabetically (Figure
15, 1b), or actually select a letter to browse those journals alphabetically (Figure
15, 1c).
It is important to note that if you enter a letter such as "a", this search process
minimizes the returned publications to only those titles that actually have the
sole letter "a" in them, rather than returning the titles of publications that
begin with "a" as well.
- For example, let us choose to browse for publications
alphabetically by selecting the "A" link. Scroll down until you see the journal
"Adherent; Seattle" and click on the link to that publication (Figure 16, 2a).

Figure 16
This brings up a new screen that allows you to browse the issues of
this journal (Figure 17). This is further emphasized by the orange tab that shows (Figure 17, 2b).

If you want to minimize the returned list of journal dates (if the number returned
is overwhelming or confusing to view) on the screen, you can utilize the "Date
Range" function (Figure 17, 2c). This range function is activated by selecting both the "From"
and "To" dates in terms of month and year and then hitting . <<previous page next page>>
