Korean Collection

    The Korean Collection, Asian library at the University of Illinois library at Urbana-Champaign contains nearly 15,000 volumes in Korean language that support teaching and research in the Korea related studies.

    The Korean language materials are housed in the Asian Library at the third floor of Main library while titles in western languages are located in the main stacks and other departmental libraries. The Reading room in the Asian Library also contains a good collection of reference works and a selection of Serials in English and Korean languages.

    Korean collection also collect audio-visual materials including Golden age Korean films and Korean feature films. Those materials are housed at Media center at Undergraudate library. Korean collection and undergraduate library are also collaborating in developing Korea graphic novel collection and over 250 titles are purchased until now. They are also housed in the Undergraduate library
