The Ricker library owns a small number of CD-ROMS in Art and Architecture. These CDs are searchable by using the Online Library Catalog, but can be searched here in their entirety. These CDs are NON-Circulating, but can be used on the library's public access terminals.
A large part of this collection is comprised of CDs from the DISKUS series ( Digitales Informations-System für Kunst- und Sozialgeschichte ), a database of German art. The images and material are taken from museums, archives, offices for the preservation of historical monuments, research institutes and university institutes. With the exception of two CDs, Ricker owns all DISKUS series CDS produced to date. |
