Where are the Reserves in the Funk ACES Library?

Note: most UIUC libraries have Reserves and your professor may have put the Reserves for your class at any one of several libraries. To find out where the materials are, check the
UIUC Online Library Catalog (see below).
How do I find out what has been put on Reserve for my class?
To find out what is on Reserve for a class you must search the
UIUC Online Library Catalog...
Click on the link to the
UIUC Online Library Catalog
Choose to search "Course Reserves".
Select the course number or instructor name from the appropriate drop box. This will let you access the Reserve list.
If what you need is
printed material (usually books) located at the ACES Library:
Write down the call number of the item you want and give it to the Funk Library Circulation Desk staff along with your I-card. You must have your I-card to check out any material at the Funk Library.
Most Reserve material is charged out for 2 hours. It can be renewed if there is no one else waiting for it.
The fine for overdue Reserves is $2 for the first hour and $1 for every hour or part of an hour after.
In many cases the material you need will be
available electronically.
You can identify these resources because their title will start with "E-reserves for [course number / professor]...".
Follow this link to the full text of the item you need.
In most cases these are Acrobat PDF files.
E-reserves can be printed either from library computers or from your personal computer. Libprint is the library public printing system and costs 10 cents per page.
