Online Interlibrary Loans

This year the Library introduced paperless interlibrary loans through a new online service. To access the Web site, visit the Library Gateway at the following address: http://www.library.uiuc.edu/. Click on "UIUC Libraries, Services & Staff" and then select "Interlibrary Loan" to enter the Illinois Research & Reference Center (IRRC). IRRC is the interlibrary loan department for Library users.

Library Notices via E-mail

Beginning May 1, 2000, Library notices to faculty and staff will be generated electronically and distributed via e-mail. This service will provide all types of notices, including overdue reminders, recalls, and notification that materials are available for pickup. The advantages of the new system include faster processing time and prompt notification, a reduction in paper usage, and increased savings on postage costs.
